Status of Appeal 03/06/10

Hello Everyone,

We are just checking in to let you know that there is no news yet from the Court. Brandon's last appeal was filed on May 12, 2008. Seventeen months later on October 7, 2009, Oral Arguments were heard. It is now five months later, March 6, 2010, and we have not heard any word on a ruling yet. Brandon waits and we wait. Unfortunately, that is the way it goes with this process. We will let everyone know as soon as we do. Please continue to hang in there with us. It means a lot.

We also invite you to visit a website called The Justice Project. (http://www.thejusticeproject.org). They are doing important work to help those who are wrongfully or unjustly sentenced.

Finally and most important, please write to Gov. Schwarzenegger and let him know that the communtation he granted to Brandon is deeply appreciated and we respectfully request that he release Brandon from prison before he leaves office at the end of this year. Write often if you are able.
